Nate, the lams on this board are from my stash of vintage lams. The color pallete of this board was calling for them. I think it was a good choice. what do you think?
Nate, on the hand plane template. we just eyeballed the outline on a piece of cardboard with Kawikas hand to use as a reference and just drew an outline around his hand.. the template part was easy, shaping it was much more difficult than it would appear.
Wayne - Board is working well, had a couple good of good days- Tomorrow looks good too. Been riding it as aquad-might try switching it up BTW I love the way both boards I have gotten from you go backside, really smooth, responsive and free Thanks Jim
I like the color and lam I ask because I tried to shape one from one of my broken boards holy smokes it was hard... I know shaping is hard but shrinking it down like that was tough... after I glass mine I will send a pic (dont laugh...) nate
new lam? on a side note, how did you make a template for Kawika's hand plane a while back.

Thanks Jim! Dims 7'4" x 23" x 3.08" glassed thickness. Rider is 5'10" 200 lbs.
