  2. Wayne,

I went out yesterday and today on this board, and you're right - I should have trusted you and not been so worried about the size! I think it has the perfect amount of float for me, and I am really hoping it takes me to the next level in surfing ability.

I got thrashed yesterday (the waves were really walled and closing out) but today I had more luck... they were still close outs but after some adjustments I was at least popping up ok. Just need some better waves so I can work on pumping for speed. I'll update again after I get some quality time on the board.

    Thanks again! You're awesome

    1. hi ron,
thanks for the update. with this board the main area of adjustment is getting used to less volume and the shorter length. things will get much quicker and the overall timing will become more critical in compared to your 6-0, this at the beginning portion of the wave attack, once you get to your feet it will be all gravy... enjoy!

  3. As I prepare for my new board, just wanted to update my feelings on this twin keel. It has been my go-to board for the local beach breaks since I got it, and I've improved soo much on getting up quick and pumping down the line just like you said. Just this morning, conditions weren't great, but I was able to tease out some decent rides and make sections I wouldn't have been able to on my old board. This thing flies! Thanks for how much thought you put into this board - it works exactly like you said it would.
