Claudio, this board does look similar to yours in photos, but this one is on steroids compared to your version. lol.
The Mush Buster incorporates many of the functional design elements of many poplular shapes from different eras. If you look closely you can see shapes from the 70's 80's, 90's, 00's, and now into the 2010's, 5 decades of progressive short board designs incorporated into one shape. wow wee.
Wayne, so happy! Took it out in Nor-Cal waves shoulder-head high. Makes the drop and really fast down the line - I was making sections I could not on my fish. I love it as a tri, going to try it as a quad next week. Thanks a lot!
Mush buster, indeed! Took this out today in mushy knee-waist high waves. Caught more waves and much faster and snappier than with my 6'5" fish. I might never ride a different board. -Henry
Wayne, took it out yesterday, 1st with tri then switched to quad setup. Waist-shoulder high waves. Quad is more "skatey", even more so than my quad fish. Fun in a different way. I like the options! Henry
That looks FAST!!!!!
ReplyDeleteReminds me of a board I had 80s. But with modern bottom and fin config. Need to try one. TD
ReplyDeletehey that looks familiar...
ReplyDeletehaha, great board!

ReplyDeleteHenry, Stoked you are having fun! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI was deciding on which tri fin set to send you either the AM1 or AM2. Sounds like the AM1 was a good choice. :-)
