  1. Nice, the deck rocker looks a lot flatter then my fish in the nose. Is the bottom rocker close to the fish in the nose, or is it flatter?

  2. deck rocker is decreased from the apex, the botom is increased from center. what do you think? looks different once glassed. don't you think?

  4. flatter deck rocker helps with entry speed and drive. along with an increased bottom rocker you have more leverage and control.

  6. Man, kneeboards look so sexy. I always want to try one and stand on it. I know it probably wouldn't work but still... :)

  7. Funny you mentioned riding this board as a stand up, Damian and I were just talking about designing one for stand up with some tweaking. It would be a blast to ride. After all the modern twin keel and all the fish variants have originated from kneeboard designs.

  8. Yeah it's true. Knee boards have played a fundamental role in modern surfboard design. In any case, if you do design one, sign me up!

  11. Wayne,
I had fun on the board today. This was a day I would usually not surf especially with a new board. Barley breaking on the outside fat section to the shore break. I was catching waves with the long boarders out, gliding over the fat section to the shore break. The board is really loose too! Lot of the guys where checking it out. I this you may get and order or two soon.

    1. Micko, the emphasis on this shape was for Damian to ride as a board for mainly daily conditions here in so cal. At Damos size 6'3" 280 he needed a shape that would offer good float and drive on the weaker conditions, but still be able to set a rail and pivot effortlessly with out relying on a deep rail set to initiate the pivot.

      6'1" x 25.5" x 3.14" glassed thickness.
