I agree the old orginals from the 70's weren't practical for dribbly 2' beach breaks.
With my 70's influenced model, I have taken the positive attributes of the orginal verstion's like the wide point forward, volume forward, low entry deck rocker, pendulem swing, etc,.. of the orginal's.
With out divluging too much I have modified my version with changes to rocker, foil, bottom contours and fin config to have much more pragmatic performance in all around moderate to solid surf. Hence the name of this model 70's "Influenced" Round Pin.
Planning ahead for El Nino?
ReplyDeleteBoards like that look terrific but don't get ridden much. That's why so many of them become wall hangers.
