Custom wood inlayed deck Double Winged Skate

 

 Jacob, After spending most of the day inlaying this small leaf on the deck side with mediocre results, I didn't feel confident to inlay the large piece on the bottom.

The bottom contours of this shape are not flat, one of the problem is getting the wood to lay flat and even with the contours, with the bottom getting a single 4 oz lam I don't think it would be smooth as it should.
