Jim, Lol,..That's what I try to keep telling myself. After all they are just surfboards.... that bring so much stoke and joy to us, in a rather chaotic world.
Wayne - Had a chance to try it out this weekend- not ideal conditions and with a 5/4/3 and 45 degree water, kinda tough feeling it out. Definitely paddles and catches waves good though, must be that "proven rocker" LOL Jim
Wayne- Looks good ! I am really looking forward to riding it, should be perfect for our spring swells.

Is that a double wing diamond tail? Or just a hip diamond tail? I can't tell. Look really good.
ReplyDeletethanks jim! sorry about the poking tease. hope you have a sense of humor. :)
ReplyDeleteAlex, it's just a couple subtle sets of wings, bumps, hips, break, what ever you want to call them is fine with me.
Wayne - Not a problem at all! I have a terrific sense of humor, can't take things too seriously eh ?

So there is some relief there. My eyes weren't playing tricks on me. Looks tight!

ReplyDeleteWhat are the Dims on this one.
7' x 21 3/16" x 2.86"
ReplyDeletefrom a "proven" rocker. lol... what ever that means.
Would a board this size have more or less volume then my last kneeboard you shaped for me?
ReplyDeleteJims Prodigal Son shape = 41.89 liters
ReplyDeleteDamo kneeboard = 47.81 liters
this shape would be noticeably less.
Damo the difference of 6 liters would be approx 366.14 cubic inches.
ReplyDeleteDamo you would have to bump this shape up to 7'5.5" x 22" x 3" if you want to keep it at 3" thick. You can move the width, thickness, length around.
