This is John, Ben's older brother. We actually took the board out of the plastic wrap last night. We probably spent an hour just looking at every inch of the board. The innovation is thoroughly impressive. From the nose to the tail, the deck pad, the fins, and channels. I was particularly impressed with the scoop out on the nose. It is pretty cool to know that Ben has the only board like this anywhere else at least for now =)
I think he is going to try and ride it this week up in Washington somewhere.
I got smart this time and used a white background.
ReplyDeleteThat is a trip Wayne. I wonder how it will work?
ReplyDeleteHey Lance!
ReplyDeleteGood to hear from you. Hope all is well.
Yeah, the board will be a blast to ride.
Think mini-simms with a formula 1 suspension.
Mini-simms on acid for the cosmic ryde. Hop on and enjoy the ride.

Hi John,
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting, I had a great time designing and shaping Ben's CG it's an orginal.
Virtually all my boards are one offs and true customs, I don't over produce boards and hustle pre made stock boards to shops/individuals.
I enjoy formulating customs shapes that are ideal for the individual rider. Each Oak Foils that I shape has a individuals name to it.
Stop by the shop if you ever get down this way!

Wayne-
ReplyDeleteBen's brother John- great to see the CG Model gaining in popularity. I love the board and people still trip when I bring it to surf.
May be in the market for a new board...will call soon.
