Oak Foils / Wayne Okamoto

Specializing in formulating, designing, and refining the custom shaping process since 1973. Combining both traditional methods and modern techniques.

**View Custom Shapes** Prior to Glassing on my Instagram and FB

If you have a custom on order and would like to view your shaped blank on my Instagram@oakfoils or Facebook by clicking the links below.

If you have an Instagram or Facebook account and would like real time updates of your custom board order send me a "Friend or Follow" request (my sites are pretty much all boards or design oriented so if you don't want your feed bombed with images of boards you can unfriend or unfollow once you have taken delivery.) I am updating daily as it's a fluid process as I can post directly from my shaping bay with my iPhone. Posting to this blog requires me to edit photos and post from my desk top. I will make an effort and update this blog with completed shapes only if time allows, but most likely shifting my updates to my Instagram and Facebook accounts.

  • My shop is not a retail surf shop. I do not sell wetsuits, skateboards, boardies, wax, etc... I am a manufacturer, my shop is a shaping factory. I only make custom to order surf vehicles. PERIOD. Sorry, no repairs. Please do not just show up at my door with out an appointment. My days are filled with designing and shaping boards, not just mine but for other shapers also. I love to take your custom order, but please by appointment only. Thank you.

Below is a list of Models and Customized Variations. I listed a couple "examples" of each version. Any size, any type, or variations of a shape you can think of is possible. Only limitations are the size of the blanks available. Use the search box above and type in any model to see what is possible. The boards listed are just a small example of what is possible.
