Chad's custom XXL Mush Buster

6'11" x 22.75" x 3.35" shaped foam thickness.

Chad's Mush Buster is largest one I have shaped to date. USBlanks 82A to the rescue again!

  1. Whoaw, the MB scales up pretty nicely. 82A, is that an EPS blank?

  2. Alex,
The 82A is a poly blank, it is designed for a true "big guy" dimensions. At 8'3" x 25 1/8" x 4" thick it has enough volume to shape true full dims. I have problems being able to shape full modern concaves combined with modern tail rockers for bigger guys.

I hate the close tolerance blanks, most all the blanks are mainly all close tolerance esp with shortboard blanks, too much dome in the decks and tails too thin to be able to shape the desired concave and tail rockers that I generally shape.

With the 82A it has been a god send for the true full volume shapes with out having to compromise the outline and foils.
