This shape was originally shaped for another customer back in 1999. Eric purchased the board second hand and it has been a keeper, till his son Kahoa rode the board. Now it's with Kahoa and Eric wanted a new version exactly like the original 9'6" but wanted a new version 10' and wider. This is the new customized version of the exact shape from 1999..
a well made board is still a well made board :) glad to see the appreciation
ReplyDeleteI was surprised to have Eric ask me to shape his board. He's starting a new label and has been around and knows so many other shapers to choose from. It's been a nice experience working with him.
Deletegotta love digitizing in true 3d :)
ReplyDeleteyeah digitizing in true 3D is the only way to go. especially with surfboards that need to be scaled. using the 2D slice method is for the birds. lol.
