  1. Hello Wayne,
I had to say something because I just can't believe how many of those you're doing man. Proof of a good concept, right? When you say XXL, what kind of dims are you talking about? 6'6"? 6'8"? How much do you think you can scale up that design?

  2. Hi Alex!
Yeah, the XXL MB are unique, in so that most shapers will find them difficult to shape due to blank unavailable in a close tolerance plug.

I start with an 82A USblank to shape these 6'3" and 6'5" for Albert. The 82a specs are 8'2" tip/tip 25 1/8" wide and +4.0" thick. Shaped from dead center on the blank!

    Kawika's 6'3" x 22" x 3.25"

    Albert's is 6'5" x 22" x 3.25"

  3. Whoaw! you start with an 8'2' to end up with a 6'3" or 6'5"? Shoot! That's big? Do you do your tapered rail on those too?

  4. yes sir, I let my cnc do the bulk task mowing foam. I try and spend my time "fine tuning".

mowing foam is the order of the day. not into being a foam gardner, I leave that task for my machine.

  6. That's the beauty of 3D digitizing and using CNC for milling. It's ability to capture all the fine detail of the shape. Impossible to reproduce by hand. Once I have captured the magic shape, it can accurately be reproduced or modified. Plus, they aren't on Facebook all day. lol,.
